The Inspiration Behind GUGLI
Our journey began after 9/11, where a tragic communication breakdown in the towers meant that firefighters inside couldn’t reach those outside to warn them of danger. Currently, there’s only one annual inspection of the buildings antennas required by code, there was no way to know where the first responders did and did not have communication before entering the building. More first responders entered the building, unaware of the antenna outages, which led to more lives lost. That moment drives our mission today—to make sure that reliable communication is always there to protect lives.
